Greetings FENG Members:
I am presently engaged as interim treasurer/director of treasury for SP Fiber Technologies (SPFT) located in Dublin, GA. Dublin, GA is approximately one hour east of Macon, GA directly off of I-16. I have been asked by the CFO to assist him in finding the right candidate for the permanent role, and I wanted to share the job description with the group. Please see below:

Role Objective:
The Director of Treasury is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the treasury and risk management functions. The position will be responsible for strong controls over the treasury, cash flow, working capital and risk management functions as well as the supervision of treasury and field finance resources to optimize cash management and provide for adequate risk management. The position will provide guidance and oversight to minimizing working capital and maximizing free cash flow. Additionally, the position will be responsible for corporate debt restructuring and day to day bank relationships.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
•Responsible for cash flow management in a leveraged private equity controlled business.
•Responsible for 13 week cash flow forecasting and reporting to Executives, Board Members and Investors.
•Responsible for managing corporation’s credit and credit references with goal of establishing solid credit rating.
•Responsible for the company’s Cash Conversion Cycle and managing vendor/customer terms and relationships to maximize cash flow and minimize working capital investment.
•Responsible for working capital management and reporting for three business units. Provide guidance to control and optimize working capital through collaboration with the FP&A function, business unit finance and supply chain.
•Responsible for the analysis, placement and optimization of insurance coverage through partnering with the operations function including owning the insurance broker relationship and program management.
•Responsible for management and tracking of key metrics (treasury and working capital related) for distribution to the executive team.
•Participate in other treasury, corporate finance, and accounting projects as needed.
•Management and supervision of one treasury staff and one (off-site consultant) credit and collections staff.
•Administration of all letter of credit activity.
•Dotted line management and supervision of the accounts payable function as it pertains to cash disbursement activities.

•Requires four (4) year business degree (BBA/BS) in accounting or finance.
•MBA is preferred/CPA a plus.
•Tax experience also a plus.

•Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in corporate finance and treasury/cash management.
•Experience in highly-leveraged environments strongly preferred.
•Background and experience in private equity controlled businesses strongly preferred.
•Manufacturing experience (pulp and paper industry experience a plus).

•Strong Analytical skills.
•Strong Financial skills – particularly development of 13-week cash forecasts in a highly leveraged environment.
•Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
•Computer skills – MS Office, MS Dynamics (Great Plains).
•Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
•Demonstrated leadership skills.
•Project management skills.
•Initiative and problem solving skills.

The individual selected for this role MUST be commutable to Dublin, GA. The closest city to Dublin is Macon, GA which is approximately one hour west of Dublin. Relocation assistance will be considered for the right candidate.
