CASI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:CASI) is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the acquisition, development and commercialization of innovative therapeutics addressing cancer and other unmet medical needs for the global market with a primary focus on China. We are currently seeking a Vice President, Corporate Finance & Strategy who will play a major role in executing the business strategy of the Company. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the areas of fund-raising, financial and corporate strategies, and make corporate presentations to the financial community and investors. This position will also be integral to the Company’s investment relations activities and help steer the flow of financial and other information among shareholders and the investing community, and will help to develop communications, strategies and to implement programs to keep the financial community current on company performance and industry trends.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, innovative, out-of-the box thinker, who takes pride in their “rollup my sleeves” attitude. The candidate understands what it takes to grow a company and work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment as a member of the senior management team. It is imperative that the potential candidate becomes familiar with CASI’s mission, products, corporate and financial strategies to facilitate presenting the company to the financial community. The candidate must possess exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
Successful candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in business or a scientific discipline; a degree in a life science plus a M.B.A. would be ideal. A minimum of 15 years in the financial community, preferably in the biotechnology, life science or healthcare space. Candidate must have exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills and be able to travel domestically on a regular basis as needed to proactively engage the financial community.
