I'm interested in what NYC companies are doing with respect to reimbursement of business use of personal cell phone usage.  In order to cover email access, we've had a practice of reimbursing 1/2 the data cost on the employee's monthly bill but that process hasd become unwieldy. Thank you.

I worked for a large firm that paid nothing for personal cell. Instead they 'encouraged' use of personal device via the good app, made employee wi-fi available at office, and negotiated discounts with carriers.  


It's probably easier to make it a standard amount - one person on google FI is $20 per month (similar to Verizon) + $10 per GB of data.  Assuming folks use 2 GBs of data, maybe provide employees with a standard $40 monthly allowance.
