Speaker's bio:
Neil Watanabe has over 30 years of finance, accounting and operational experience and has served as the Chief Financial Officer for both public and private national retail companies. Mr. Watanabe recently served as Chief Financial Officer for Savers Value Village, the largest for profit thrift retailer in North America. Prior to that he has worked in the capacity as COO for Companies such as National Stores, Sears Health and Nutrition and Motherhood Maternity. Mr. Watanabe, a veteran financial executive, has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for US Auto Parts, Shoe Pavilion, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas, PetSmart, Mac Frugal Bargain Closeout, and Kay Bee Toys. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and obtained certification as a Public Accountant in Illinois.
