Agenda:

Are you leveraging the Gig Economy, or missing out?

How employees and employers leverage agile and remote work is changing rapidly. Are you prepared for this shift, or will it leave you behind? Are you fully leveraging the opportunities and managing the challenges that the Gig Economy presents?

  • More than 76% of companies today use some form of agile worker
  • It is estimated that around 85% of the jobs that today’s learners will be doing in 2030 have not been invented yet
  • 50% of Youths (16-24) and 48% of Seniors (65+) participate in independent work
  • 77.4% of gig employers say it’s easier to get approval to hire a contractor vs. a full-time employee
  • Business ownership is on the rise:
    • Over 1 million business start-ups are launched every year
    • 65% of new owners said they started a business so they can have control and flexibility

Come prepared to learn:

  1. Who is the gig worker; how are they different from “regular” employees
  2. How large is the gig economy
  3. How COVID-19 has accelerated the adoption of the gig economy
  4. The major new evolution in human life which makes the gig economy enormously important to the thriving of individuals in ALL areas of life, not just work
  5. How to participate in the gig economy
