Topic: How to achieve sustainability and a professional future controlled by you in uncertain and changeable times

Speaker: Simon Hudson, Co-Founder of Morphosis Partners Limited

Presentation:
The presentation will provide short insights on:
- How to reposition your existing network and how to replenish decision maker networks in a time efficient way in order to provide continued access to your future relevant inner circles. HINT: To do this effectively starts with YOU.
- How to transition functional expertise to alternative sectors, trading situations and business ownership models. HINT: You do not achieve this clicking apply.
- How to use LinkedIn in order to ‘stand out’ time efficiently and effectively. HINT: No need to become a blogger to achieve your professional aims.

Simon proposes the format to be, 10minutes on each topic in terms of information share with elements of show & tell followed by the opportunity for an interactive Q&A to take up the remainder of the presentation.

FACT: Networks start to lose their value as you join those former decision makers at the top table. Decision makers are now your peers so future sustainability comes from an ability to evolve your inner circle ties to those who remain able to make hiring decisions.

FACT: Marketplaces are dynamic with winners and losers. Transferring skills is something that may be forced upon you so how do you achieve that transition when adverts state “Must have sector relevant experience?”

FACT: Your LinkedIn profile stands in front of your CV in the marketplace. The average executive is being viewed and dismissed without ever being made aware. So, how do you make best use of the platform without the need to become a social marketeer?

Speaker's Bio:
Prior to co-founding Morphosis Partners Simon spent most of his career operating as both a head-hunter and human capital advisor with particular emphasis of empowering the executive to take a greater pro-active ownership for their current and future wellbeing.

Businesses and individual client representative of Fortune 500, FTSE 350, Private Equity backed, AIM Listed, Owner Managed, Public & Charity Not for Profit. In short Simon has operated in a sector, scale, client situation and ownership agnostic way.

Simons’ knowledge, integrity and fresh approach is often called upon and Simon has delivered speaking engagements on invitation to the likes of ICAEW, IIM, CIPD and to notable executive MBA students at leading institutions such as INSEAD and CASS business schools.

Morphosis is intended to be nothing like what you have come to know, understand and expect within the marketplaces we are disrupting. Morphosis Partners have been described as a turnaround and transformation business where the entity being turned around or transformed is the individual which in turn impacts commercially at both a team and organisational level. For the individual, it enables a future which is more pro-actively controlled with you and your wellbeing and your emotive preferences at the centre.
