Technology has played a significant role in changing the ways buyers become aware of, consider, evaluate, and decide to purchase a new product or service.  The ways Marketing & Sales interact to drive revenue for companies, both big and small, has had to adjust as a result.  Tonight, we are going to discuss these changes and how growth minded businesses recognize the power of strategic alignment between Marketing & Sales.

Dan Flynn is the CEO & Founder of Skyhawk Sales Consultants Inc., a provider of Fractional Chief Revenue Officer services, specializing in driving revenue for clients through sales strategy, sales process, and sales execution.  Dan has 25+ year’s sales leadership experience and success and has designed and led sales teams from start-up to annual revenue responsibility exceeding $200 million.  Most notably, Dan’s success track record includes re-imagining and leading a multi-platform sports media organization consisting of the Lakers & Dodgers sports networks, as well NBA & MLB content from ESPN, TNT, TBS, FS1 & the MLB Network.  The results were 50% organic revenue lift in year 1 and 28% lift in year 2.  Dan Flynn earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kim Salzer Kim Salzer is an outsourced/fractional CMO with Chief Outsiders with experience building strong brands and turning around businesses across consumer technology, e-commerce, education technology, and consumer packaged goods industries. She has 25+ years of operational experience, as well as extensive consulting experience with turn-around and high growth-potential companies such as Draft Kings, True Religion Jeans, Milani Cosmetics, World Gym International and Leapfrog. She focuses on demand creation to drive profit through great products, creating desire, acquiring customers, building teams and driving innovation to ensure the cycle continues in the long term.  She holds a BA in Communication Studies from UCLA and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.
