Speaker's bio:
Kim Shuler is an Executive Vice President with Towne Bank. She has over 34 years of experience in banking.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1984, she joined First Virginia Bank as a management trainee. She joined Towne Bank’s commercial banking team in December 2017, after 18 years in the SunTrust Bank commercial banking group. Her client list include non-profits, churches, schools, government contractors, manufacturers, construction, service, agriculture, industrial, wholesalers, and retailers.
Kim is a life-long resident in Hampton Roads. She and her husband Pat live in Virginia Beach. Involved in numerous charitable organizations during her career, she and her husband are currently Vice Chairs of Fundraising for the Neptune Festival. She is the immediate past chair of the Virginia Beach Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. She is an appointed committee member of the Bikeways and Trails Commission in Virginia Beach. During her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, Derby, and riding her horse.
