Greg has been serving and consulting with privately-owned and -managed
companies for most of his 50+ years in banking. Prior to relocating to Phoenix and joining Western State Bank, Greg was the president/CEO and co-founder of a community bank in Wisconsin.
Greg has been very active outside of banking as well.
1. He is now serving as the Chairman of the Arizona Industries for the Blind, a large non-profit in Phoenix.
2. Greg is a member of the Arizona Business Council
3. He served as Chairman of the Board of the largest private high school in Wisconsin as well as serving on the board of an additional three not-for-profit organizations.
4. Greg also served as the Chairman of the Wisconsin Business Development Growth Fund for 12 years and a member lender for 21 years.
5. Greg is a past director for the Community Bankers of Wisconsin
Greg was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009 by the Milwaukee Business Journal as well as Financial Advocate of the Year by the SBA/WBDFC in 2010.
Greg is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University.
