Speakers: Rich Lavinski, Co-Founder of East 57th Partners

This is a joint meeting with The FEI (Financial Executives International) who will be running the virtual meeting.

Presentation:
Rich Lavinski, is the founder of Lavinski Allan & Associates and East 57th Street Partners. Over the years he has become an expert in career management, executive search, and consulting services specializing in the areas of accounting and finance employment and employment related services.

Rich will discuss common hiring mistakes that companies make when evaluating and hiring job candidates.

Learning objectives include:
A) As a Hiring Manager, how to make better hires and streamline the hiring process
B) As a Candidate, how to adjust your job search and interviewing techniques to account for inexperienced hiring managers who can stand in the way of landing your dream job.
C) As a Job Seeker, how to overcome the many roadblocks that surface due to faulty hiring practices.

Speaker's bio:
With over 20 years of experience, Rich Lavinski founded and co-founded several successful companies and pioneered new frontiers in the professional project services and consulting industry. Rich has used his management, operations, and financial experience to help organizations meet their goals through providing Consulting, Project Management, Talent Acquisition and Professional Staffing services. Rich has extensive experience servicing the needs of Private Equity, Telecom, Banking, Real Estate and large HR/Payroll/HRIS and Financial Restructure initiatives.

Rich is a Co-Founding partner of East 57th Street Partners (E57) Consulting. In his current role at East 57th Street Partners, Rich is responsible for leading the direction of the practice and managing the various consulting services offered to clients.

Prior to East 57th Street Partners, he was Managing Partner of the DFW office of SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC. During his career, Rich has built and led several successful companies including Lavinski Allan & Associates (now part of Accretive Solutions/ RGP) and Propensity (now part of the Hudson Highland Group a global publicly traded company). He began his career as a tax professional with a Big 5 consulting firm.

Rich graduated from the University of Chicago with an AB in Economics. He earned his MBA with a concentration in Accounting and Taxation from the University of North Texas.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of WaterStone Foundation. Rich has also served on the boards of The Cartmell Home Foundation, Lakeview Methodist Foundation. He has also severed on the Business School Advisory Boards of the University of North Texas School of Business, and Southern Methodist University.
