Agenda:
Topic: “Covid-19’s Impact on Employer Sponsored Health Plans”

Speakers: Laura K. Clayman, JD, SHRM-CP McGriff Insurance Services Senior Employee Benefits Compliance Officer and Clayton Tolliver, McGrif Insurance Services SVP/Employee Benefits Practice Leader - Texas

Presentation:
It’s hard to believe that we have been navigating the COVID-19 pandemic for 6 months! And while our personal lives have been affected in previously unimagined ways, we have also seen an unprecedented number of changes impacting the design and administration of health and welfare plans. Some of these changes are mandatory, such as extended deadlines for special mid-year enrollments as well as COBRA elections and payments; others are optional, including temporary modifications to your Section 125, FSA and/or HSA plans. Whatever the change may be, we can be sure that these changes come with a cost - whether direct to premiums and, in turn, to employer and employee contributions or indirect in the form of increased administrative burdens and employee relations challenges.

Join us as McGriff Insurance discusses a number of these regulatory changes and addresses several of their most frequently asked questions relating to COVID-19 and employee benefits.

Learning Objectives:
- FFCRA – Paid Leave & Cost Sharing
- CARES Act – Coverage Mandates
- Eligibility Expansion
- Section 125 Permitted Changes
- ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA Extension
- COVID-19 Effects on Health Plan Costs
