Jennifer Currence is the president of The Currence Group in Tampa, Florida, a corporate training and coaching company. She has been recognized as a Thought Leader by the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI), a Subject Matter Expert by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and was named the Tampa Bay HR Consultant of the Year in 2017.
Jennifer has 20 years of experience in Human Resources, earned her MBA with an emphasis in management, and holds nationally accredited certifications in coaching (ACC) and human resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP). She is a professor of management at the University of Tampa and serves on the national faculty of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Jennifer is an international speaker. Her books “Developing Business Acumen,” “Applying Critical Evaluation,” and “Mastering Consultation as an HR Practitioner” are part of the SHRM Competency Series: Making an Impact in Small Business.
