Topic: Upping Your Professional Image Virtually

Speaker: Peggy Bud, founder of Speaking Skillfully

Presentation:
Creating a professional image virtually, means having a paradigm shift. The outbreak of COVID 19 changed how the world conducts business. We went from using a variety of platforms to communicate with clients, colleagues and friends to using a virtual world to deliver services, make pitches and sell products.

Peggy Bud, founder of Speaking Skillfully, will discuss ways to easily Up Your Professional Image Virtually. This session isn’t about how to log onto a ZOOM call; it’s about understanding what to do to ensure you successfully connect with those on the call. You only have one chance to make a great first impression.

As a leader, communicating on a virtual platform means doing things differently. As a team member, it means doing things differently. As a jobseeker, updating your narrative means knowing how to present yourself virtually. Most people have not taken the time to focus on how they look and how they sound when connecting on ZOOM. It’s not business as usual. Business as usual began with a hand shake. Your virtual presence begins as you click, “Join the Meeting.”

The session will be interactive. Peggy will provide tips on how to effectively and successfully communicate via ZOOM.
