Agenda: We will have about 15 minutes to make some announcements and discuss how the Zoom meeting will be handled and how you can participate. The Liz Broadway will speak for about 30 minutes. She will be available for questions to be submitted via “Chat” for another 30 minutes.

Topic: “Financial, tax, and compliance issues of PPP loans”
This is a constantly changing environment due to the new regulations being developed every day. Liz Broadway has made it a point to keep abreast of the requirements at every turn in the road and will give us an insight into what the latest developments and requirements will be as we move forward in the COVID-19 environment.

Speaker: Liz Broadway

Liz has over 20 years of experience in public accounting. She joined Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP in November 2006 and became a partner in 2013.

Liz is a partner in the Firm’s tax practice and is the hospitality segment leader. She is also the tax team leader. She works with clients in a variety of industries including hospitality, software and other technology services, manufacturing and distribution including e-commerce, professional services, and other companies with a focus on sustainability. Her experience in these industries includes business consulting, tax planning and projections, transactional analysis, and corporate, partnership and individual income tax compliance, including multistate taxation.

About the Raleigh, NC Chapter:
The Raleigh chapter has over 1,000 members and meets monthly, generally on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Meeting locations vary so be sure to double check this each month. Guests and prospective FENG members are always welcome. First-timers are given the opportunity to introduce themselves to the other chapter members. Most meetings include a speaker and current topic of interest to our members.
