Agenda:
Job Search in The New Norm –
Latest Protocols (including Video Conferencing Best Practices) from the Eyes (or is it The Screen?) of the Executive Recruiter

If you are like me, you most likely have had more Zeetings (Zoom meetings) in 2020 than any year prior to that.

We are still a ways away from having the Coronavirus pandemic in our rear-view mirrors so starting off 2021 why don’t we get some insights from two experienced talent professionals from one of our (The FENG-Chicagoland) executive recruiting partners on what has changed, what is the same (is there any?) and what are the new trends in job search, hiring, interviewing, onboarding, offboarding, uploading, downloading or whatever else we need to be prepared for in a world that many believe will be a mix of in-person and video connections.

While we were celebrating FENG-stivus on December 8, 2020, one of our speakers, Tracy Shick, Vice President of Project Resourcing at International Financial Group (IFG), was participating in a seminar with peers on best practices on all sides of the table – the job search candidate, the recruiter as well as the hiring managers on how to operate and succeed in our new executive job search environment.

Tracy will be joined by her IFG colleague, Eric Maleski, Partner at the firm.

We look forward to Tracy and Eric’s insights as well as hearing your questions/concerns that we hope will get resolved as all of us move forward in this ‘new norm.’

Tracy began her career in corporate finance and accounting for a Fortune 500 company. Over 10 years ago, she pivoted to recruiting for Accounting and Finance in Chicago. She specializes in Consulting, Contract and Advisory Services. Tracy’s focus is on providing assistance to the office of the Controller and CFO while they undergo major projects. Tracy attended Illinois State University where she received dual degrees in Corporate Finance and Management and Quantitative Methods.

Eric Maleski is going on his 10th year in the consulting and staffing industry. His strength is assisting financial leaders with complex issues, ranging from finance and accounting project initiatives to identifying the right individual to fill a vacant role within the finance and accounting department. Now a Partner, Eric transitioned from his previous life of assisting Major League Baseball General Managers and All-stars (you may even be able to ask about the prospects for the Cubs and Sox for this coming baseball season!), to CFO's and top tier accounting and finance professionals. He oversees all of IFG's direct hire activities. He earned a degree in Economics and minor in Communications from Benedictine University.
