Topic: Networking with LinkedIn: How to build your personal brand, grow the right network, and create more opportunities without becoming an influencer.
Speaker: Manny Loyden, Employee Benefits Consultant, Amalyn, A member of The Partners Group
Presentation:
LinkedIn has changed. It is no longer just a place to keep your résumé. People are looking you up before meetings, interviews, referrals, introductions, and business conversations.
This workshop will show attendees how to use LinkedIn more intentionally to become known for the right things, build stronger relationships, and create more opportunities.
The 5 Things You Will Learn:
1. Decide What You Want to Be Known For
Before you worry about posting or growing your network, get clear on who you want to reach and what you want people to know you for.
2. Make Your Profile Sound Like You
Your profile should clearly tell people who you are, what you do, what you care about, and why they should remember you.
3. Build the Right Audience
More connections are not always better. We will cover a simple way to intentionally grow your network with the people you actually want to know and be known by.
4. Show Up and Talk to People
LinkedIn works best when you treat it like a real room. Comment, engage, support people, reconnect, and start conversations. You do not have to post every day to grow.
5. Share What You Know and Build Real Relationships
Your stories, lessons, experience, and opinions are already content. We will talk about how to share them simply and then use that visibility to start conversations and strengthen relationships.
What FENG Attendees Will Leave With:
A simple framework for using LinkedIn more intentionally to strengthen their personal brand, grow the right network, become more visible, and create more meaningful professional opportunities.
