Topic: Aligned Ambition: Navigating Your Career with Clarity, Direction & Impact
Speaker: Mark Myers, Legacy Leadership Coach & Executive Life Evolution Coach, former FENG Nashville Chapter Chair
A successful career is rarely a straight line. As careers evolve, even accomplished professionals can find themselves asking new questions:
What do I want next? What matters most to me now? And how do I make career decisions that reflect not only where I’ve been—but who I’m becoming?
Aligned Ambition is an interactive workshop designed to help financial professionals step beyond the traditional career questions of titles, compensation, and advancement and consider the deeper factors that contribute to meaningful and sustainable career success.
Through guided reflection and practical exercises, participants will examine the values, strengths, experiences, emotional signals, and work environments that have shaped their careers to date. They will then use those insights to begin defining what alignment might look like in their next professional chapter.
Whether participants are actively pursuing a new opportunity, contemplating a transition, rethinking their career direction, or simply becoming more intentional about the future, this session provides a practical framework for approaching those decisions with greater clarity and purpose.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Explore the values and strengths that contribute to their best work and greatest professional fulfillment.
- Identify recurring career and behavioral patterns that can provide clues about future direction.
- Understand how self-awareness and emotional signals can serve as valuable data when evaluating
opportunities and career decisions.
- Consider the work environments, relationships, and professional experiences in which they are most likely to thrive.
- Connect career ambition with a broader sense of purpose, impact, and the legacy they want their work to create.
- Begin developing a Career → Legacy Alignment Map™ to help translate these insights into intentional career choices.
Aligned Ambition invites participants to shift the question from simply, “What should I do next?” to the more powerful question: “What do I want my next chapter to mean?”

The Treasury special interest group is designed as a forum where corporations and financial institutions can discuss issues of mutual interest such as cash management, capital structures including debt management, investments and market risks.
With 4500+ members from public and private corporations both large and small plus bankers from domestic and international banks the treasury SIG is uniquely positioned to act as as resource when the time comes to understand "what the other guy is doing" or learn more about liquidity and risk. For example:
- How much liquidity is "enough"?
- How much risk is "too much"?
- Is my company over borrowed, under invested or over exposed (and how would I know?)
Please contact Bruce Lynn 203-655-4806, [email protected] for more information about the group's activities including dates of the next newsletter and conference call schedule.
