Learn the basics of cybersecurity, and how it pertains to financial executives in a variety of settings. In this presentation, you’ll receive an overview on identifying and managing cyber risk, proactively communicating with IT professionals, complying with industry best practices, and aligning stakeholder responsibilities. The presentation will include a case study, and will be followed by some predictions about the 2024 cyber threat landscape that your businesses may be exposed to.
Speaker's bio:
Andrew Kennedy is a Manager within Baker Tilly’s Risk Advisory Practice. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Finance prior to starting his career in cybersecurity. As a result, Andrew specializes in mitigating both Financial and Cyber risk, and works with clients of all shapes and sizes to structure Internal Audit programs, establish data governance procedures, maintain SOX compliance, complete IT Due Diligence exercises, and much more. Through dealing with both Financial and Cyber risk, he is well versed in assembling cross-functional teams to obtain a more holistic approach to organizational risk management.
