Our speaker for the meeting will be Gerard Raho and he will discuss “Financial Planning During a Job Transition”. Gerard will be discussing at the meeting:
1. 401k options when you leave a company and the positive and negative aspects to each option. He will discuss special situations when you can take money out of a 401k without penalty.
2. He will talk about overall financial planning as he touches on cash management options and liquidity needs during job transition.
3. Gerard will show a retirement analysis and discuss the importance of having proper asset allocation.
4. Gerard will also discuss current market volatility and put it into historical perspective.
Below is Gerard Raho’s bio:
Gerard is a finance professional with 20-plus years of experience in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to Edward Jones, he ran a trading desk for JP Morgan for a number of years, as well as his own NYSE Floor brokerage firm with three partners. During that time, his clients were some of the largest and most sophisticated hedge funds and money managers in the world. At Edward Jones, he now uses that experience to help individuals with wealth strategies. He takes a comprehensive approach to financial advice, which includes not only investments but also asset protection and legacy strategies.
