Topic: Getting The Most Business Value For Your Cybersecurity Spending
Speaker: Kip Boyle is an Author, Instructor, Podcast Host, and Chief Information Security Officer at Cyber Risk Opportunities
Presentation:
Are you looking at your company’s budget for next year and seeing the BIG cybersecurity number? The one that’s bigger than last year? What are you really getting for that money? Our speaker will show you how to focus your cybersecurity spending in a way that propels your business forward and brings the most business value. He will also address why the CFO/Financial Leader is an important member of the cybersecurity team, unpack a recent business email compromise that happened at the State of Oregon (and how the treasurer tried to prevent it!), as well as explain why your IT person is NOT your Cybersecurity Person.
Bonus: Attendees will get a free copy of Kip’s Amazon bestseller, Fire Doesn't Innovate: The Executive's Practical Guide to Thriving in the Face of Evolving Cyber Risks. It's written in business language, and aims to make senior decision makers (even non-technical ones!) better cyber risk managers. It’s available in softcover, Kindle, Audible, and PDF versions, at your request.
