Subject: How CFOs can thrive post PE acquisition: Lessons learned from Atlanta and Amsterdam

We invite you to join a candid discussion on one of the toughest challenges in private equity today: why so many CFOs struggle after the deal closes. Drawing on insights from recent Odgers-led panels in Amsterdam and Atlanta, this session will explore the sharp shift in expectations post-acquisition, where speed, scrutiny, and a relentless focus on value creation define success. Deloitte data highlights the stakes, with nearly 80% of CFOs in PE-backed companies replaced during the ownership lifecycle and many exiting within the first 18 months. We will discuss the most common reasons CFOs fall short—from misalignment with sponsors to execution gaps—and, importantly, what separates those who succeed from those who do not.
