Media Finance Through The Eyes of a Creative: Crafting a Partnership to Drive the Business Forward

Media may be a creative business, but finance is the fuel that powers the machine. Longtime media content creator and consultant Mike McVay will help attendees understand how to engage creatives in the process of managing assets, human and physical, and maximizing their value.

He’ll share firsthand experiences from his own life and work to help you better understand how to engage and lead those who fear financial parameters. It’s often said, "You have to spend money to make money"; Mike will share the moment when he learned that wasn’t true. His perspective includes maximizing the talent as an asset to generate revenue, rightsizing programming budgets, and encouraging a scrappy approach to programming.
