Presentation:
We invite you to analyze how a Republic considered an early example of representative democracy, which has become a dominant power, suddenly faces internal challenges such as the deterioration of political coexistence, economic inequality or the emergence of a populist leader.
Speaker's bio:
At his core, Javier is transformational.
He transformed his life from a parentless, homeless kid who didn’t speak English to transforming a struggling enterprise into the leading advocacy group for Hispanic small business in the United States.
After working at some of the most recognized brands in the US, including Sprint, Allstate, ING and Bank of America, Javier took on the challenge of promoting the Hispanic small business community by joining the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as its President and CEO.
During his tenure at the USHCC, Javier transformed the organization from near insolvency to one that became the loudest voice for the Hispanic small business community in the country.
Javier accomplished this by appearing in national and international media and by developing lasting relationships with political and business leaders. Through his tireless advocacy, Javier opened doors and delivered growth and opportunity for Hispanic small business.
