Our subject matter expert, FENG member Andrew B. Wilson of ABW Consulting, LLC, has extensive experience in renewables, cleantech and sustainability including over 20 years working with both large established firms and small technology startups - principally focused on business strategy, process controls and deal structure. Andrew served as the Executive Director of the NECEC Institute, a non-profit focused on accelerating innovators in cleantech across the New England region. Prior to NECEC Institute, Andrew was the President and CEO of SpectraWatt, a solar cell manufacturing firm in New York, which he led from inception as a new business venture inside of Intel Corporation through its spin-out and growth. Prior to developing and leading the solar enterprise, Andrew spent 12 years at Intel in various finance and general management leadership roles across a number of Intel communications and computer systems, including desktop motherboards, communications systems solutions, and unified communications.
We asked Andrew to deliver a hour overview of the space. He will provide a brief overview clean tech, good and bad points to consider, investment decisions criteria, the three largest factors that tend to influence decisions and a checklist of tactical steps to get started implementing your own cleantech strategy.
