Executive Clarity: Leading Without Reactivity
What if your greatest leadership advantage isn’t what you know, but the state you’re in?
Executive Clarity: Leading Without Reactivity explores the “window of tolerance,” a neuroscience-based concept that defines the optimal zone of nervous system activation for effective functioning. The talk demonstrates how physiological regulation enables leaders to maintain clarity and steadiness, respond rather than react, exercise sound judgment, and foster stronger relationships and organizational culture.

Welcome to the San Diego Chapter of The Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG), with almost 700 members, including San Diego residents and many remote members. We meet monthly via Zoom and give participants an opportunity to introduce themselves and provide speakers on topics relevant to financial executives.
This chapter draws from a deep and geographically diverse pool of senior management talent and financial disciplines. Out-of-town residents with an active interest in San Diego are welcome to join and attend any events.
Each San Diego meeting on zoom offers one CPE credit if you attend the majority of the meeting. Please write to Jim Carr for more information. Jim Carr,

San Diego FENG members benefit directly from Matt Bud’s Daily Newsletter, including meeting announcements and a featured editorial article of topical interest to financial execs. Senior level financial job postings around the world are available on this website in the Job Leads section on your dashboard.
Job Clubs are also available for those in active search mode - You have a unique and invaluable opportunity to connect with others, share insights and collaborate on innovative solutions to today’s challenges of job search. Through in-depth discussions with other FENG members interested in similar financial roles, you will stay updated on industry trends, exchange best practices, learn about new technology and create meaningful connections with other finance leaders in your club.
Meeting Dates, Time and Location
With rare exceptions, we meet via Zoom the first Tuesday of each month from 8:30-10:00 AM, with an August hiatus. Meetings begin with half an hour of news, announcements and personal introductions, followed by a guest speaker(s) on a topic of timely interest. Please check out the Meetings tab for a list of upcoming topics.
Members, prospective members and invited guests can register for meetings. If you are a non-member, please send an email and let us know who you are, who referred you and your interest in attending the meeting to:

Please Donate to The FENG
The FENG is NOT a fee for service organization - We live on voluntary contributions. This approach to funding our operations is part of the spirit of that makes our “circle of friends” work so well. Although we do have an army of volunteers, we still need cash to support our considerable out-of-pocket expenses. If you can afford to, please make a voluntary contribution from time to time - Any amount you can contribute is fine. We do not seek to create a financial burden for anyone - Donate what you can and when you can. To pay by credit card, go to the donations tab on your dashboard of this website and follow the instructions to donate.
