Strengthening Your Professional Presence on LinkedIn:

Do you still think LinkedIn is just an online résumé or a place people go only when they are looking for a job? You are not alone. Many professionals have an outdated impression of LinkedIn, but the platform has changed dramatically. Today, LinkedIn is one of the most powerful tools for building visibility, credibility, relationships, and business opportunities.

In this interactive session, Rhonda Sher will show FENG members how to stop being overlooked and start using LinkedIn strategically to become more visible, trusted, and remembered. Rhonda will share practical steps to optimize your profile, expand the right network, create conversations, and turn connections into opportunities. Whether you are in career transition, consulting, business development, or simply want to strengthen your professional presence, this session will help you see LinkedIn in a new and more profitable way. Bring your questions and be ready to learn how to turn LinkedIn from a passive profile into an active relationship-building and opportunity-generating tool.

I will also provide information on how to create a one page website using AI as a bonus

Chapter Description

Our monthly chapter meetings for networking each month typically on the Third Wednesday 5PM PT on Zoom with a guest speaker.

Welcome to the San Francisco Chapter of FENG, the Financial Executives Networking Group. Our goal is to become the premier networking resource for finance professionals in the Bay Area. We provide ongoing career management services and help our members with job search and transition support through networking and continuing education events. Our motto is "you are either in between jobs or in between job searches." Either way, come join us and build your network.

One distinguishing feature of our organization is the support available from the National FENG organization. New technologies, particularly the organizations website and adaptation to changing technology, have made networking an even more powerful tool. Networking is a proven and time-tested method, providing the single best source of business and job opportunities.

Here are some specific details about our local chapter:

Membership Mix:
The San Francisco Chapter draws from a deep pool of proven management talent and financial disciplines, including private and public accounting, corporate finance, financial services, M&A, auditing, SOX compliance, tax, and treasury, private equity, venture capital, and consulting.

Organization:
The San Francisco Chapter of FENG is a not-for-profit organization.

Meeting Dates, Time and Location:
We meet over Zoom, typically the third Wednesday of every month at 5pm PST.

We also have additional networking meetings in three suburban locations in the SF Bay Area as described in the Meetings & Events page of our website, http://thefengsf.org/meetings. When our meetings are in person we encourage you to bring several copies of your resume or a list of targeted companies/industries if you have one available for review/discussion.
