Analytics-Driven Cost Management
Using AI to Combat Inflation – an Analytics Driven Approach to Cost Management
During inflationary times, CEOs and CFOs increase their emphasis on cost management. However, traditional approaches that focus on individual line items, hiring freezes, and decree absolute cost reduction targets, while marginally effective in the short-term, are largely based on intuition/gut-feel. With few unbiased analytics applied to the cost/value relationship, traditional cost management often fails to meet its targets, and is disconnected from strategy and medium/long-term revenue growth.
Therefore, in today’s supply-constrained and inflationary environment, it's necessary to have analytics-driven cost management, which delivers unbiased insights to integrate with business strategy and revenue expectations. Top-line scenario planning becomes an essential aspect of the cost management approach to identify specific actions to be taken to execute an inflation fighting plan. Understanding expected results from actions combined with the actual and predicted results, allows managers runway to course correct and focus on areas with the highest impact/reward.
During this webinar, we will discuss the following:
• Traditional cost management limitations
• The need for and benefits from analytics-driven cost management
• Framework of our proprietary Target Operating Model
• Roadmap for implementing an analytics culture of data driven decisions
• Use cases in applied analytics and scenario planning
• Value gained from analytics-driven cost management
