Agenda:
Attaining and Retaining Job Search Referrals: Basic & Advanced; Includes Metric Macro Program

Note this is a two-part series – Basic on March 10th, Advanced on March 24th;
Attendees are encouraged to attend both sessions!

Do you want to leverage landing your next career opportunity through contacts you have made from previous companies you have worked at?

In most cases, the effective networking efforts involves the process of creating internal advocates within a targeted company.

It takes a well-defined process to know who to target, how to engage them and the kind of communication it takes to earn their interest in helping professionals in their career search endeavors.

Key takeaways will include:
1. The importance of having a job referral.
2. The steps in preparing to search, find and select job referrals.
3. How to get an internal sponsor to help your cause.
4. What to say and do with targeted individuals in face-to-face (and now video conference) networking conversations.

One bonus for attendees (you need to participate to have access to such!) –
• How to effectively use a job search referral template to capture and journal referral contacts.

Date: Wednesday, March 24, 2021 – Advanced Level
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST

Problem: While LinkedIn does have a mechanism to search for connections with characteristics you are looking for, it does not have a navigation method to tell you from a contact base perspective which connections you have had conversations with over the past five years.

Solution: The good news is that a metric macro program has been written so that someone can easily navigate through the LinkedIn downloadable data.

The advantages to the metric macro program include:
1. Shortens Time in Transition
2. Supports Social Distancing
3. Improves Identification Security
4. Allows for Collaborating with Others Who Generate These Metric Models
5. Great opportunity to learn about both an analytics program, as well as analytics tools and programming that is an employment skill that several employers want to see in your background related to healthcare and/or technology roles.
