The next meeting of the Bergen FENG Chapter will be October 3, 2024 at 6:30pm via Zoom. Our speaker for the evening will be Gerard Raho. 

 

Gerard will discuss “Financial Planning During a Job Transition”. 

At the meeting, Gerard will discuss:

  1. Asset allocation and the different ways of looking at it at various life stages.
  2. Discuss some of the typical investing mistakes people make.
  3. Positives and negatives of passive vs active investing.
  4. Briefly touch on pensions, annuities and cash flow and strategies for emergency cash
  5. Discuss current market volatility and put it into historical perspective.

Gerard Raho is a finance professional with 20-plus years of experience in financial markets. As an

Edward Jones financial advisor serving the NY Metro area, Gerard helps

Prior to Edward Jones, he spent several years running a trading desk for J.P. Morgan, then

established his own NYSE floor brokerage firm with three partners. During that time, Gerard’s

clients were some of the largest and most sophisticated hedge funds and money managers

in the world.

Gerard earned an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor's degree

in economics from Syracuse University. He resides in Mendham, NJ, with my wife and two

children and is a member of the Mendham Business Association.
