Agenda:

Wednesday, January 15th at 4PM Eastern, I will be interviewing Beth Carter about Understanding Gen Z’s.

(If you recognize her name, it is because she has been a frequent contributor to our evening newsletter.)

The workplace has become even more diverse as the Gen Z’s entered the workforce in the height of Covid. Many leaders are struggling to understand not only how to manage this generation but also motivate them to take the initiative to try new things and take on more complex tasks. The Gen Zs are frustrated because they do have innovative ideas on how to improve efficiencies, develop new products and services, and cut down on “useless activities” but feel they are not taken seriously due to their age and the perception of about their generation.

In this session, we will explore the Five C’s of Gen Z’s. As a corporate trainer and university professor, I have worked with hundreds of these young people and understand their desires, challenges, and opportunities. There are many ways leaders can effectively work with the Gen Z’s, so I will provide some strategies that will hopefully help in making your workplace more collaborative and cohesive.
