Agenda:

Topic:  Current Situation in Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico

Presentation:
- Argentina: Clorrie Yeomans: Milei's Omnibus Law: Implications for International Business and Investment
This brief presentation will outline what Milei's flagship Omnibus Law means for international business and investors. The package of pro-market tax and state reforms was narrowly passed by the Senate on 12th June. The bill will now return to the Lower Chamber for a final vote, where it is expected to pass. These landmark reforms aim to transform Argentina's economy, reducing the size of the State and opening the doors to private investment. What opportunities and challenges should international investors and businesses look out for?

- Ecuador: Juan Terán Jurado: what's ahead of the next presidential election in February 2025

- Mexico: Susana Berruecos: an overview of the recent elections in Mexico

Our thanks to Nick McCall, The FENG London Chapter Chair, and President of the Canning House, for his assistance in arranging this presentation.
