Topic: "How to Work as a Consultant in the Gig Economy"
Speaker: David Schuchman, President, Princeton Technology Advisors, LLC
Presentation:
More FENG members are finding it difficult to secure a CFO, Controller, or Director career opportunity that they find interesting, offers a desirable compensation, is geographically desirable, and avails the work-life balance that they desire.
In response to the disconnect between what the market is offering and what FENG members need, more members are considering becoming a Consultant.
A consultant is someone who provides skills, a service, or expert advice to others. For some professionals, this can be a new way to stay busy and earn income. Especially when full-time employment opportunities are not available.
But,
- How do you work as a Consultant?
- How is being a Consultant an alternative to Full-Time employment?
- Why is it desirable for a client organization to hire a Consultant versus a Full-Time employee?
- How does the Consultant handle questions about E&O Policies? Sales Tax? Insurance?
- How does a Consultant generate new business, while they are fulfilling existing client needs?
This program will answer the above questions and more! As you consider the steps you need to follow to pursue a path to "Work as a Consultant".
