Bio for Mar Hernandez:

Leading Consultant for Finance & C-Suite roles located in Miami.

Mar Hernández is a senior member of the firm’s office in Miami, FL. She serves clients across industries pertaining to non-profit, consumer, financial services, technology and healthcare in recruiting executives across the C-suite to regional headquarters in Florida and Latin America. As a one of Russell Reynolds’ Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors,  Mar makes sure the firm incorporates D&I into all our client and candidate interactions.  Mar also leverages her industry and analytical expertise to conduct senior-level searches for a wide range of strategic and functional roles, including CEO, CFO, CHRO, CMO, GC-Compliance and General Manager roles. Additionally, Mar is a leading advisor for the HR community in Florida, having executed top HR work in the region.

Professional Experience

Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mar spent five years with a boutique search firm in Miami, as a senior client partner. Previously, she was Global Head of Sales & Marketing Director, BPO at Amicorp Group. During her time there, she worked from Athens and supervised the opening of a new center in Pretoria. Earlier in her career, Mar worked for EDS and TeleTech in Miami, as well as in advertising roles at companies including McCann and Saatchi & Saatchi in Barcelona.

Education

Mar holds a B.A. in communications science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and an MBA from the Escuela Superior de Administracion de Empresas (ESADE).
