Our speaker for our September meeting is Vera Bartasavich, M.Ed., NDTR, CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist). She earned graduate degrees in Health Education & Promotion and Nutrition Education after many years in the food industry. Vera presents health and wellness topics in a variety of settings including corporate wellness and community organizations. She will present Thinking Positive in the Pandemic Environment. Research shows that a positive attitude is a benefit to physical and mental health. A positive attitude can help us stay optimistic even when facing challenges. Vera will focus on the approach to incorporate positive thinking into daily living. Attend to learn the benefits of a positive attitude (physical/mental) along with techniques to use for a more positive attitude.
