Topic: Never Search for a Job Again!
Speakers: Avani Doshi, Fractional CFO, Finance Consulting & Advisory, A. Doshi LLC, and Sandy Petty, Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner of Executive Financial Partners, LLC
2 Co-chairs of the Women’s SIG, Sandy Petty & Avani Doshi, came to The FENG the “normal” way - during their job searches but neither of them expects to be in transition ever again! One by accident and the other with intent, they both founded their own consulting firms and have found it to be highly rewarding, albeit with its fair share of challenges. Against the backdrop of their respective journeys, Sandy and Avani will discuss the pros and cons of independent consulting as a career choice.
Come prepared to quiz them about their experiences and if there is enough interest among the members, they have offered to do a follow-up session at a future SIG meeting on the “How to” part of starting an independent consulting practice
