1. Strategy - you need to know your fish to get rich

2. Sales and Marketing - once you know your fish you can successfully plan on how to attract and catch them

3. Operations - every great fishing boat has a great captain and crew and they understand the processes to work together

4. Finance - nothing about fishing is cheap, you need to understand how the operation works and how to work it on your budget

5. Technology - technology is in place to make life easier, picking and using the right tech helps in catching more fish

6. Leadership - anyone can steer the ship but the captain needs to chart the course

Speaker's bio: 

Since receiving his master’s degree in Aquatic Biology from Central Michigan University in 1988, Michael has traveled the U.S. extensively as a corporate and private environmental consultant working on some of the largest natural gas pipelines constructed in the country. This experience allowed him to work closely with corporate executives, federal agencies, project design engineers and field construction staff.  He has worked with and trained staff from Exxon, Shell, Chevron, AECOM, The Louis Berger Group, and TRANSCO just to name a few.

Michael began his career shift in 2009 and began working in the business and executive coaching arena exclusively. That included working for ActionCOACH and becoming a founding partner of the John Maxwell Team.

In 2014, he started Teach Your Business to FISH, the premise behind this was to use his passion for fishing and running business and merging them together. Michael believes he has a unique way of looking at business and assisting business leaders take their companies to waters they have never seen or imagined. 

The pandemic created a switch, and he started Whiteboards N Whiskey TM as a lead generation tool that has turned into a franchise with events in Texas, Florida, and Australia. 

His main tool for planning business success is the Profit Acceleration Software TM.  The software uses 497,000 weighted algorithms to produce a step-by-step plan for business success.
