Thanksgiving

As we begin “the holiday season,” I hope everyone will spend a few minutes counting their blessings.

Although the specter of Covid-19 appears to be continuing to hang over us, it is vitally important to keep a positive attitude about life and our career prospects in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

In the book “The Road Less Traveled” by M. Scott Peck, the author is kind enough to explain his major point early in the book: Life is difficult. If you accept this thesis, everything makes sense.

We have so many problems facing us at the moment, it is possible to fall into the trap of thinking things are impossible. Things are never actually easy, but they are not impossible.

As those of us in the United States gather together on Thursday for a quintessential American holiday (hopefully with family and friends this year), remember last year when things really WERE bad.

With any luck, we will all find a way to muddle through. Let that be enough.

Regards, Matt
