Speaker’s bio:
Viswanathan (Vish) is a University topper in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, India and has a Master’s degree in Operations Research, Advanced Analytics & Business Management and was University top ranker from State University of New York, USA. Vish has completed Post Graduate in Psychological Counseling from Symbiosis International University in Pune, India, approved by RCI.

Global CXO experience:

Vish is a seasoned global executive with over 35 years record of accomplishment and successful business leadership in the United States and Asia, in the Travel, Transport, Hospitality and Information Technology industries. Currently, he is the CEO of Anikode Management Consultants, a strategy-consulting boutique, based in Dallas, US and Chennai, India, helping global clients in digital transformation strategy and execution. Vish is a qualified, trained, practicing professional psychological counselor and leadership coach. He has extensive hands-on experience working with 1000s of people globally in mental health counseling and mentoring people of all age groups, nationalities, personalities, demographics and gender.

Prior to this, he was a senior partner at ANSR Inc., a management consulting company based in Dallas and Bangalore. He has held senior executive positions in various global multi-national companies. He was the Senior Global Advisor to the Board of Directors of Amadeus, the largest travel solutions and Distribution Company headquartered in Madrid, Spain with offices in 195 countries. He was the CEO of UBICS Inc., a NASDAQ listed public company, a worldwide leader in strategic consulting and integrated IT services, headquartered in Pittsburgh, USA with 1000s of employees located at offices in US, UK, UAE and India. Prior to this, Vish has served as senior advisor to Chairman & executive management consultant at UB Holdings, CEO of Sabre Holdings for the Asia/Pacific region and in executive management positions at American Airlines and Sabre Holdings in US.

Board Member, Entrepreneurship: 

Vish was an elected board member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in its Chennai chapter for three consecutive terms. He is a member of the Advisory board in several start-up companies in the US and India. He is a Stanford seed mentor and actively mentors young entrepreneurs worldwide. Vish is an accredited angel investor with Guindy Alumni Angels in US & Native Lead Angels in India. He is an active member of the Alumni Association of College of Engineering, Guindy. He was nominated as the chairperson/convener/co-convener in ALL the three editions of the prestigious College of Engineering Guindy Global Alumni Meet (CEGAM).

Social interests:

Vish is an avid social worker and is involved in various community, charity and social organizations helping in strategy, planning, fundraising and execution of social projects worldwide. Vish has travelled to, lived in and worked with colleagues and customers in 88 countries. Vish spends time in both Chennai, India and Dallas, US and commutes frequently between the two countries for business, social work and family purposes. His interests include running marathons, integrated organic farming, learning ancient scriptures and Indian Classical Music. Vish is married to a highly talented, terrific homemaker, loving mother and a tireless social worker. He has two daughters who live and work in the United States.
