This unique evening combines an insightful Post-Election Energy Update with the conviviality of a festive Ugly Sweater Holiday Social—a perfect blend of business and celebration to mark the end of the year.

Speakers:

Amy Henry, CPA, J.D., CEO & Co-Founder of Eunike Ventures

Amy is a distinguished professional in the energy sector, serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Eunike Ventures and owner of Henry CPA Group LLC. With over 23 years of international upstream experience, she has worked with organizations such as PETRONAS, Royal Dutch Shell, Ernst & Young LLP, and Arthur Andersen. Her extensive background encompasses both conventional and unconventional E&P business, including Integrated Gas/LNG projects.

In addition to her leadership roles, Amy is a board member of TiE Houston and a principal of TiE ATX LLC (Angels of Texas). She holds a BBA in Accounting, a Juris Doctorate in Law with a corporate and tax focus, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Oxford Said Business School.

Amy's multifaceted expertise and leadership in energy innovation make her a valuable speaker for discussions on post-election energy policies and their implications for the industry.

 

Chris Hosek, Managing Principal, Texas Star Alliance

Chris Hosek is a principal at Texas Star Alliance, specializing in direct lobbying and state agency relations with a particular focus on the energy sector. He has extensive experience in legislative issues and policy initiatives.

Prior to his current role, Hosek served as the chief of staff for five years to the Chair of the Railroad Commission of Texas, the regulatory body overseeing the state's energy industries, including oil and gas, pipeline safety, gas utility rates, and mining operations.

Hosek's career also includes serving as the legislative director in the Texas House of Representatives during the 77th and 78th sessions, where he was involved in drafting the state's two-year budget and worked on the House Energy Resources Committee.

In recognition of his contributions, Hosek received the 2018 Texas Oil and Gas Award for General Industry Service, becoming the first energy lobbyist in Texas to earn this honor.  Additionally, he was named "Services Innovator of the Year" by D CEO Magazine in 2018.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Hosek is actively involved in community service. He has served on the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, the Urban Transportation Commission for the City of Austin, and the boards of Ballet Austin and the Lone Star Success Academy. He also serves as a Trustee for the American Council for Young Political Leaders.

Hosek holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Texas State University, graduating in 1998.
