Agenda:

Our first 2024 monthly meeting of the San Diego Financial Executives Networking Group will be a virtual meeting held on Tuesday, January 9th, at 8:30 - 10:00 AM Pacific time.

We are pleased to welcome as our speaker Mr. Mark Blackton, recent former chair of the Kansas City Metro Area FENG; a former CFO, Controller, VP of FP&A and VP of Business Development in companies from small to Fortune 100 size; and Founder of Insights3 Consulting for business transitions and Blackton Resource Management providing fractional CFO and strategic planning services to all size clients. Mark will be speaking to us on how best to run a fractional CFO business. Mark is not only an expert at providing high-level financial, planning, valuation and transition services to a variety of clients; he is absolutely passionate about doing so, and about teaching other senior financial executives how to do so.

As always, the meeting is free to FENG members and their guests. We're always glad to welcome our friends from the PwC San Diego office, other FENG chapters around the country and the world, the SIG and chapter members noted above, and any guest you as a member may wish to invite.

There will be 1.0 hour CPE credit given to all participants requesting it and who are present for the presentation.

To register:

Members: www.theFENG.org/

Invited guests: www.thefeng.org/chapters/california/san-diego/33.

Stay tuned for the full announcement later this week, with more detailed instructions if you need them for RSVPing via the FENG website, and logging in to the Zoom platform for the meeting itself.  A reminder here that when you register, signing in first to the FENG website using your password will enable you to have full access to the meeting attendee roster. The full announcement will include more info on our speaker, the discussion topic, CPE credits and everything else.

I hope this finds you having enjoyed a warm and festive year-end holiday season, staying healthy, and staying safe from the various winter viruses making the rounds.  I hope we'll see you online next week at our meeting on Tuesday the 9th.

Best,

Dan
