Topic: How Many Ways is Traditional Finance and Banking being disrupted by Digitalization and Decentralization?
We've all witnessed changes from technological advances in almost every area of finance in both our personal and professional lives the past few years. Yet, we may be at just the beginning of a continuing transformational shift in how we deal with money, and on a global scale, with the advent of Web3, DeFi, Crypto, A.I., and related FinTech innovations in the coming months and years.
Business, Talent and Wealth Strategist Dana Gower MBA CCP will cover trends and the expected impact of these changes for us at our next FENG meeting.
He will address:
- The growth of Digital Assets and organizations that have jumped onto the bandwagon
- The various ways DeFi Payment Systems, Investments, Capital Markets, and Lending are eating into traditional financial services
- Countries that have implemented, revoked, and/or are discussing adoption of Central Bank Digital Currencies "CBDCs"
- The basics of Blockchain Technology and how it is a prime underlying foundation to DeFi applications
