Speaker’s Bio:
Nina McLemore, founder and CEO – of her designer women’s clothing company focused on clothing for professionals. The collection is known for is power jackets, high performance separates, color, fit for sizes 00 - 18, and fine European natural and technical fabrics that are sewn in NY. The company sells through its 5 stores, the internet, independent sales consultants who work directly with customers, and better specialty stores.
Nina founded Liz Claiborne Accessories and served on the Executive Committee of Liz Claiborne, Inc., a $3 billion apparel company. She founded a private equity firm and served as Chair of the Center for Women’s Business Research and Fashion Group International. Nina is a Founding Member of the Committee of 200 and Women Corporate Directors and is a member of the International Women’s Forum and Women’s President’s Organization. She speaks frequently on Women and Philanthropy, The Power of the First Impression and Renaissance Textiles and Globalization. She received her MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
