Mark Sue: Financial Strategy & Business Growth Expert
Mark is a trusted finance partner and operational team member who helps turn a start-ups vision into an operations plan and drives results. Mark has an engineering and finance background, foundational skills from top Wall Street Investment Banks, and significant experience in driving growth for venture-backed start-ups.
Mark has spent his career guiding companies to achieve their strategic goals through effective financial planning and a focus on performance metrics. He has successfully supported Series A, B, and C software companies with investor positioning, budget planning, and closing equity and debt financing.
Mark is known for his ability to create informative KPIs and guides for the management team to track progress on a regular cadence, to measure attainment vs. targets. Mark also incorporates benchmark data in his internal presentations and charts the course for companies to premium equity valuations relative to their peer group.
Mark collaborates with sales and teams across the organization to drive results. Mark has supported GTM initiatives and marketing efforts and ties it all into financial modeling and customer acquisition strategies to help start-ups drive growth efficiently. In addition to the accounting system setup, financial reporting, and board packet preparation, Mark also enjoys building teams closely to develop team members in accounting and finance.
Khadir Richie: Leading Investor & Valuation Specialist
Khadir is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Richie Capital Group. Prior to founding RCG, Khadir held leadership roles as an Investment Banker, Buy-Side Equity Analyst, Management Consultant and Engineer/Software Programmer. Additionally, he gained experience in multiple roles within Private Equity. These combined experiences provide him with a unique perspective as an investor and an ability to analyze and evaluate businesses and investment opportunities from multiple perspectives.
Khadir founded Richie Capital Group with a vision for creating a vehicle where he could fully leverage his passion and expertise while providing opportunities for investors to grow their assets. His investment strategy pursues superior risk adjusted returns through concentrated portfolios supported by bottom up fundamental research. Khadir developed his investing process over the course of 20 years of investing in public equities; initially for friends, family, and his personal portfolio. Khadir believes in his process and has committed a significant portion of his own assets to the firm’s strategies.
Khadir earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he also served on The Wharton Alumni Executive Board of Directors from 2007 to 2016. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, road cycling, and the culinary arts.
